Job Description:

Are you experienced in the classroom environment? Seeking a term-time role? Proficient in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We have an exciting opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant position at a primary school in Copthorne. If this role resonates with you, please read on!

Job Responsibility:

Support the teacher in organising and delivering effective lessons
Assist in managing behavioural needs
Aid children in learning within classroom and community settings
Work both on a 1-2-1 and whole class basis with students

Requirements:

2 references from the last 5 years (including a full child-based safeguarding reference)
Experience working with children with SEN
Knowledge of the Primary curriculum
Experience in primary or SEN school settings

Nice to have:

Up-to-date DBS registration on the update service
10 years' job history
