Job Responsibility:
Plan and teach highly engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners, including EAL and SEND pupils
Utilise frequent formative and summative assessments to track pupil progress and implement immediate interventions
Work alongside year-group colleagues to design a broad and balanced curriculum that inspires curiosity and resilience
Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers to ensure a unified approach to pupil development
Maintain a high-standard, inclusive learning environment where positive behaviour is the norm
Actively participate in the school's robust CPD programme and contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Proven experience of delivering high-quality teaching that results in measurable pupil progress (ECTs with strong placements are welcome)
Deep understanding of the National Curriculum and effective strategies for closing the attainment gap
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a large, diverse staff team
A genuine commitment to social mobility and the belief that every child can achieve excellence regardless of their background
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required for this position
