Job Responsibility:
Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher
Follow lesson plans and ensure that students are engaged in meaningful learning activities
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Provide support to students with special education needs
Assist students with their assignments and provide guidance when necessary
Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment
Manage student behaviour and implement disciplinary measures when necessary
Collaborate with other staff members to support student development
Requirements:
Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to effectively tutor and mentor students
Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
Ability to work with individuals on the autism spectrum
Creative writing skills to engage students in learning activities
Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and approaches
