Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and adaptable primary teacher seeking supply work starting in September 2024? Join our vibrant and supportive school community in Horsham, West Sussex, and positively impact young learners across various classrooms!

Job Responsibility:

  • Adaptability: Quickly adjust to different classroom environments and teaching styles to meet the needs of each school
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to achieve their best
  • Student Support: Provide assistance and support to students, ensuring their educational needs are met
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with permanent staff to support school-wide initiatives and policies
  • Maintain Continuity: Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognised teaching qualification is essential
  • Previous experience teaching at the primary level is highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively and create a supportive learning environment
  • Willingness to work in different schools and adapt to varying teaching styles and environments
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding practices and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • A driving license and access to a vehicle are preferred for reaching various school locations
