Job Responsibility:
Designing and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners within the classroom
Using frequent formative and summative assessments to track attainment and identify necessary interventions
Taking responsibility for a specific curriculum area, coordinating resources and sharing best practices with colleagues
Managing and directing the work of classroom support staff to ensure cohesive pupil support
Maintaining professional and proactive communication with parents and carers regarding pupil development
Actively participating in school-wide planning meetings and professional learning communities
Adhering strictly to all safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure a safe learning environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory
Proven success in delivering the National Curriculum within a UK primary school
The ability to analyse pupil data to drive teaching strategies and report on outcomes
A collaborative ethos and the ability to work effectively within a large, professional team
A commitment to continuous professional improvement and a desire to take on leadership responsibilities
