Job Responsibility:
Design and execute high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners in Key Stage 2
Utilise frequent, accurate assessments to track pupil progress and implement immediate, effective interventions
Manage and mentor support staff within the classroom to ensure 1:1 and group support is maximised for student benefit
Lead a foundation or core subject area, overseeing the curriculum map and supporting colleagues with best-practice advice
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with families to support pupil attendance and academic growth
Actively participate in cross-site moderation and training sessions to maintain a high standard of teaching and learning
Requirements:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in the UK
Proven experience of teaching within Key Stage 2 with a track record of meeting or exceeding attainment targets
A deep understanding of the National Curriculum and current statutory assessment frameworks
Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to maintain high professional standards at all times
A positive, solutions-focused approach to classroom challenges and school improvement
Full adherence to safeguarding requirements, including an Enhanced DBS check
