Job Responsibility:
Emotional Support: Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive emotional regulation
Adaptive Learning: Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored activities that meet specific EHCP goals
Safe Environment: Maintain a supportive, calm, and engaging atmosphere even during high-pressure moments
Multidisciplinary Work: Work alongside a dedicated team of specialists to ensure every pupil feels seen and supported
Requirements:
Experience: Proven track record supporting pupils with SEMH needs (essential)
Temperament: You are calm under pressure, empathetic, and highly resilient
Adaptability: Willing to work across different age groups and school settings at short notice
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build quick rapport with both staff and students
