Are you a resilient educator who understands that 'behaviour is communication'? We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants specialising in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) to join our specialist team in Exeter. In this role, you won't just be a classroom assistant; you'll be a mentor, a stabiliser, and a champion for pupils who face significant barriers to learning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive emotional regulation
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored activities that meet specific EHCP goals
  • Maintain a supportive, calm, and engaging atmosphere even during high-pressure moments
  • Work alongside a dedicated team of specialists to ensure every pupil feels seen and supported
