Job Responsibility:
Dynamic Delivery: Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects at KS3 and KS4, ensuring that learning objectives are met with enthusiasm and clarity
Proactive Management: Implement school-specific behaviour policies with confidence, creating a respectful and productive atmosphere from the moment the bell rings
Academic Support: Provide high-level assistance to students, identifying those who need extra scaffolding and those who require extension tasks
Professional Reporting: Leave concise and constructive handover notes for the returning teacher, detailing work completed and highlighting any exceptional student progress or concerns
Subject Versatility: While you may have a specialism (e.g., Maths, English, or Science), you will be comfortable covering a broad range of the secondary curriculum as required
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / QTLS: Mandatory for our supply teacher pool
Resilience & Adaptability: The ability to walk into a new school environment and command a classroom with immediate presence
Strong Subject Knowledge: A solid grasp of the secondary curriculum to ensure you can answer student queries across multiple disciplines
Punctuality & Reliability: A professional commitment to arriving on time and ready to impact the school day
Compliance: An enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one via Randstad)
