Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic Pedagogy: Designing and delivering highly differentiated lessons that challenge and inspire pupils across the full ability range
  • Data-Driven Instruction: Using frequent, precise assessments to identify learning gaps and implementing immediate, effective interventions
  • Classroom Leadership: Creating a high-expectations learning environment characterised by mutual respect, order, and a passion for enquiry
  • Subject Stewardship: Taking ownership of a specific curriculum area, ensuring resources are effective and that the subject is taught with consistency across the phase
  • Community Partnership: Maintaining a proactive and professional dialogue with families to ensure a unified approach to pupil development and well-being
  • Professional Contribution: Engaging fully with peer-observation cycles and collaborative training sessions to continuously refine teaching practice

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is an essential requirement for this position
  • A proven track record of securing strong pupil outcomes and demonstrating progress in a primary setting
  • Deep, up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum and current statutory assessment frameworks
  • The ability to pivot teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils with EAL, SEND, or those eligible for Pupil Premium
  • A commitment to the highest professional standards and a belief that every child can achieve excellence
  • A current Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service is required
