You will ensure the efficient supply of raw materials (RMs) and finished goods (FGs) across Industrial Coating SBU in Vietnam. Your role will involve planning, scheduling, and monitoring raw material supply to support production requirements while optimizing inventory levels, managing purchasing orders, coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners. You will ensure material availability, minimize supply risks, and support smooth manufacturing operations through planning, coordination, and data analysis. You will report directly to Supply Planning Vietnam.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain raw material supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory policies
Convert demand and production plans into applicable raw material requirements based on lead time, MOQ, lot size, and safety stock
Monitor material availability and identify potential shortages or excess inventory
Ensure planning master data accuracy, including lead times, sourcing rules, and planning methods
Communicate material risks, constraints, and mitigation plans to internal stakeholders
Analyze trends and cause of planning issues and propose improvement actions
Contribute to supply chain improvement programs related to planning, inventory, and supplier collaboration
Manage raw material inventory levels to balance service level and working capital targets
Review and maintain safety stock and planning parameters to reflect demand and supply variability
Identify and guide next steps to reduce excess, obsolete, slow-moving, or expired raw materials
Manage purchase orders for RMs and FGs based on supply plans
Support supplier performance monitoring by tracking on time delivery, lead time adherence, and supply reliability
Coordinate with suppliers, QC and other teams to resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and shelf-life extensions
Support Procurement in new projects, including supplier onboarding, documentation setup, sample receiving and coordination to ensure material availability
Requirements:
Min 3 years of experience managing raw materials in a manufacturing environment, supply planning, material planning or manufacturing planning roles
We prefer experience with ERP system (Oracle, SAP, or similar)
Minimum bachelor's degree in supply chain or relevant area
Strong analytical with the ability to interpret planning data and exceptions
Good communication and negotiation skills
Good skills with Microsoft Office tools especially Microsoft Excel
