Job Description:

Supply Planner will be responsible for securing operational capacities, working with capacity data from suppliers, contributing to tactical capacity planning, maintaining business set-up information, improving supplier delivery performance, and developing suppliers' logistic competence. The position is based in Shenzhen and is a one-year contract position.

Job Responsibility:

Secure operational capacities
Contribute to tactical capacity planning
Update and secure correct business set-up information
Work with systems and reports to detect deviations
Prepare suppliers for best replenishment and delivery solutions
Contribute to identifying best logistical offer
Implement and review logistical solutions
Contribute to planning range changes at supplier
Follow-up and improve supplier delivery performance
Ensure timely shipment of goods
Secure correct availability information
Develop suppliers' logistic competence
Run Supplier Development Projects
Provide supplier trainings
Lead supplier development from logistic perspective

Requirements:

Secure operational capacities by ensuring high quality of capacity data from suppliers
Work continuously towards exceptions together with Need Planner and Supplier
Contribute to tactical capacity planning based on supplier performance
Update and secure correct business set-up information in all relevant systems
Work with systems and reports to proactively detect and act on possible deviations
Prepare suppliers for best replenishment and delivery solutions
Maintain & develop supplier delivery performance and sender lead-times
Contribute to identifying best logistical offer
Implement, maintain and review logistical solutions with customer and total cost in mind
Contribute to planning and execution of best set-up for range changes at supplier
Follow-up, analyse and take action to improve supplier delivery performance
Ensure goods are shipped in time from suppliers
Secure correct availability information from supplier to IKEA Retail
Develop and maintain suppliers' logistic competence
Run Supplier Development Projects
Provide suppliers relevant trainings & working methods
Take lead from logistic perspective in supplier development
Engage relevant competence in IKEA and at Supplier to assess supplier logistics capability
