You will manage supply planning activities for the Canada location on a fixed-term secondment. You will work with local and global teams to ensure supply plans meet the forecast requirements and minimize shortages and impact to patients. Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end supply planning for 200+ finished goods items
Act as the single point of contact for local supply issues, escalating risks and coordinating resolution with global hubs, logistics and commercial teams
Manage inventory levels and provide recommendations to meet service targets while optimising working capital
Investigate supply variances, run root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Maintain accurate master data and reporting
Participate in monthly forecast cycle and act as key interface between Global Supply Chain and the Canada Commercial organization
Manage the Canada finished goods inventory to Working Capital targets utilizing SAP APO/OMP
Effectively communicate to Canada Commercial the impact of supply disruptions and provide re-supply plans
Lead (as required) in monthly demand/supply reviews
Escalate supply issues to the appropriate levels
Monitoring of inbound shipments
Represent GSC in supporting the Canada Commercial ambition in teams such as New Product Launch teams
Assist as required, in management of the distribution and inventory planning replenishment and orders
Support continuous improvement initiatives to simplify processes and improve supply reliability
Build and maintain strong working relationships across functions and with external partners
Requirements:
University degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
3 to 7 years of hands-on demand and supply planning experience in consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or related industries
Practical experience with ERP systems and planning tools (experience with SAP is an advantage)
Strong knowledge of SAP, APO, OMP or similar system
Strong analytical and modeling skills
Sound knowledge of the Canada Pharma product portfolio
Strong understanding of end to end supply chain and impact to market
Strong Excel skills and experience preparing and analysing data-driven reports
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Excellent communication skills in English
French considered an asset for some roles
Nice to have:
APICS, PMP or other supply chain certifications
Experience with working with multi-functional teams, including particularly Sales, Marketing and Finance
Experience with advanced planning tools (S&OP, SAP, APO/SNP, OMP or similar)
Experience working with global planning hubs or across multiple markets
Proven track record in continuous improvement or Lean projects
Familiarity with GMP requirements or experience working in a regulated environment
