Joining a team of 15 dedicated colleagues, you will hold a key position that bridges the gap between daily supply management and strategic process development. Your dual focus involves coordinating efficient material flow from suppliers to our global warehouses (70% of the role) while simultaneously serving as a regional 'insider' for the Process Community, driving tool enhancements and team training (30% of the role) to ensure we remain the most customer-centric organization in the industry.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the placement of purchase orders triggered by market demand or Operational Planning requisitions
Follow up on confirmation dates and track goods in transit to ensure timely order fulfillment
Create and maintain a daily order book overview to visualize status and required actions
Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers and the company to resolve complex discrepancies
hold the mandate to contact and negotiate with vendors on behalf of the supply team to maintain flow
Act as the subject matter expert for Technical handling, Nonconformity management, Freshdesk, and Skywise analytics
Responsible for SAP incident handling and participating in User-Acceptance-Testing (UAT) for system updates
Prepare Work Instructions and conduct training for regional teams to implement new processes
Collect team input to drive continuous development of tools and processes in alignment with the Process Community
Utilize extensive E2E business knowledge to deep-dive into complex, transversal subjects, identifying root causes for systemic issues rather than just addressing symptoms
Lead and drive cross-functional meetings with relevant stakeholders (Quality, Finance, Customer Service) to resolve high-level escalations and spearhead end-to-end process improvement initiatives
Serve as the first point of contact and escalation for complex cases requiring extra support
Build relationships with Customer Service, Quality, and Data Management to resolve discrepancies and quality issues
Act as a 'Change Ambassador' for the region, ensuring all updates from the Process Community are effectively cascaded to the team and supporting the human aspect of digital transitions
Requirements:
3+ years of supply chain experience in a dynamic environment, ideally within the aerospace industry
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Strong technical SAP knowledge
High digital acumen, including proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
Extensive End-to-End (E2E) business knowledge
Skilled in Process Management and mapping
Self-driven, willing to challenge the status quo
Ability to lead Change Management initiatives
Methodical and data-driven team player
Proven ability in managing escalations and possess strong stakeholder management skills
Highly independent and flexible, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
