Hi, I’m Zareena, the Nursery Manager at Edgbaston. With 23 years of experience working with children and families—and 13 of those as part of the incredible Edgbaston team—I feel truly honoured to lead such a passionate and dedicated group of Early Years Educators. Together, we create a nurturing and inspiring space where our children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. At Edgbaston, we champion curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Our experienced team recognises that every child is unique, which is why we tailor learning experiences to meet each child’s individual pace, interests, and needs—fostering confidence and independence from the very beginning. What truly sets us apart is our Hygge accreditation—a Danish-inspired philosophy that emphasises warmth, well-being, and a calm, cosy atmosphere. This means our children enjoy a truly home-from-home setting, where they can explore, play, and grow in comfort and security. We're also proud to be family-focused. Our parent reception area is a welcoming space where families can relax, grab a coffee, hot chocolate, or a piece of fruit from our snack bar, and enjoy a gentle start to the day.
