Job Description:

Robert Half is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to hire a Supply Management Specialist for an onsite role in Des Moines. This position supports supply and materials flow within a complex manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage purchased parts delivery and material flow from internal and external suppliers
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply issues
  • Monitor inventory and parts availability across one or more locations
  • Maintain accurate data and documentation using ERP systems and Excel
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across supply, operations, and manufacturing teams

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and follow-through skills
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
  • Open to recent graduates, though relevant experience is strongly valued

Nice to have:

  • SAP experience
  • Experience working with inventory or parts in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience supporting or working directly with suppliers
