Join InPlanet as a Supply & Logistics Associate, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient logistics for our Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) projects. As a Supply & Logistics Associate, you will assist in coordinating the transportation of rock powder from mines to farms. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless operations that contribute to our mission of regenerating soils and removing CO₂.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the planning and execution of transportation for rock materials and soil samples
  • Coordinate with third-party providers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality and safety standards
  • Monitor logistics workflows and address operational challenges as needed
  • Travel regularly to mines, transportation hubs, and farm sites to monitor logistical activities and ensure smooth execution
  • Work closely with farmers, transport providers, and third-party contractors to address any challenges in real-time
  • Build and maintain relationships with transportation providers, mining partners, and farming partners
  • Work closely with the field and science teams to align logistics with project requirements
  • Assist in refining logistics routes to reduce costs and delays
  • Contribute to improving protocols for material transportation and handling
  • Track and document transportation activities to ensure compliance with project goals
  • Use data to help evaluate and enhance logistics operations over time

Requirements

  • Previous experience or education in logistics, operations, or supply chain management
  • Familiarity with Brazil’s rural transportation infrastructure is a plus
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative, hands-on, and adaptable to fast-paced environments
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to addressing challenges
  • Passionate about sustainability and regenerative agriculture

Nice to have

  • Experience with logistics tools or software for route planning
