Randstad Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant supply team in Leeds. This is an incredible opportunity to work across Years 3, 4, 5, and 6 in a variety of local schools, building your experience while enjoying absolute control over your working week.

Job Responsibility

  • Help deliver core curriculum subjects (English, Maths, and Science), breaking down concepts for individuals or small groups
  • Assist Year 6 pupils with intervention groups and confidence-building exercises ahead of their assessments
  • Work alongside teachers to keep lessons on track, manage classroom behaviour, and create an inclusive learning environment
  • Support children with diverse learning needs, tailoring your approach to keep them engaged and motivated

Requirements

  • UK Experience: You must have previous UK experience working within a primary school, junior school, or formal educational environment
  • Curriculum Knowledge: A good understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Adaptability: The confidence to step into different schools, quickly build rapport with staff, and hit the ground running
  • Compliance: An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for a new one with Randstad
