Job Responsibility
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to junior classes across various local Leeds primary schools
Step into classrooms with confidence, delivering pre-planned lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Keep older primary pupils focused, driven, and excited about subjects like English, Mathematics, and Science
Establish clear boundaries and a positive learning environment quickly using effective behaviour management strategies
Ensure all work completed during the day is marked in line with school policies, leaving a helpful handover note for the returning teacher
Requirements
UK experience teaching within a primary school setting
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)
An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete a new check through Randstad)
