Job Description

Supply Cover Teacher to provide short-term and ongoing cover at a large, welcoming primary school in central Brighton. The school has a strong senior leadership team, clear behaviour expectations, and excellent support in place for visiting staff. Cover is needed across KS1 and KS2, with work set and support available on the day.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across the primary age range
  • Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
  • Adapt confidently to different year groups
  • Provide consistency and reassurance for pupils

Requirements

  • Holds QTS (or relevant classroom experience)
  • Is calm, flexible and confident in the classroom
  • Can build rapport quickly with pupils and staff
