Roku is hiring a Supply Chain Systems Implementation Manager to support our growing corporate accounting team. We’re looking for a proactive professional who can lead projects end-to-end, collaborate across functions, and excel in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
Job Responsibility:
Key player in the Corporate Accounting team partnering with IT/Enterprise Engineering to bring creative solutions to automate and streamline accounting processes
Develop and implement accounting solutions through connected systems, including ERP system, internally developed subledgers and integrations from external sources
Build and foster relationships with internal business partners including IT/Enterprise Engineering, Device Operations and other teams as needed
Initiate and drive deep dives into existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement within product accounting, costing and reporting
Collaborate with teams to design and implement automated improvements from downstream business data gathering all the way through to financial reporting
Prepare program documents summarizing the problem, objective, requirements, etc. for consumption by different audiences (i.e. accounting, engineering, business owners, etc.)
Communicate and coordinate potential solutions cross functionally including operational teams, accounting teams, enterprise engineering teams, system developers, and management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
Proven experience with system implementations, including ERP systems, and developing internal tools and solutions
CPA with minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibilities applying US GAAP standards
Hands on experience in accounting with an emphasis on hardware product sales, inventory costing, supply chain operations and financial close with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position
Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, inventory valuation, costing methodologies and analysis of other cost of goods sold such as licensed royalty/technology costs, freight, PPV and overhead
Excellent leadership skills to drive discussions, influence progress and deliver results, working with cross functional teams
A passion for solving complex problems
Strong documentation and written skills to clearly outline requirements documents for consumption by finance professionals, non-finance professionals and business process owners
Ability to effectively communicate complex situations or problems to non-financial stakeholders
