Boeing Canada Operations Ltd is seeking Supply Chain Support Specialist reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and will be working out of the Petawawa, Ontario office. The Supply Chain Support Specialist will provide on-site MH-147 Chinook helicopter support to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) customer. The successful candidate will work directly with the Asset Management team on a daily basis. This position works regular daytime business hours with a rotating on call schedule that requires some evening, and weekend work every 6-8 weeks.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to supply chain material requests required to support fleet maintenance operations, ensuring timely fulfillment and continuity of maintenance activities
Develop, revise, and implement medium‑term supply chain forecasting plans to align inventory and procurement with anticipated demand
Execute replenishment and sustainment activities to deliver program in accordance with contract requirements and to meet or exceed supply performance metrics
Analyze post‑production supply chain data to establish and refine reorder points and economic order quantities
Enter, track, monitor, and coordinate customer material requirements, delivery schedules, and order status to ensure on‑time fulfillment
Manage processing and disposition of material returned from customers, ensuring appropriate documentation and reconciliation
Support assessment of supplier and customer data related to products and services, including repair capabilities, capacity, and performance metrics
Provide subject‑matter consultation and recommendations for supply chain process improvements to increase efficiency and reliability
Contribute to the development of analytical deliverables that inform scorecards, performance tracking, and operational planning
Alternate chair to facilitate team meetings, drive issue resolution, and ensure alignment across stakeholders
Requirements:
3+ years of progressive experience in supply chain roles, including procurement, asset management, supply chain strategy and supply chain execution
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance
Candidate must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Nice to have:
5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain roles, including procurement, asset management, supply chain strategy and supply chain execution
Current Canadian Secret Clearance is preferred
Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence at multiple levels
Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills
Experience with data analysis and forecasting to support supply chain decision-making
