Job Description

Our Logistics team manage the day-to-day processes involved in ensuring our colleagues and customers have their raw materials and products in the right place at the right time. As a Supply Chain Support Assistant, you will provide coordination and administrative support to the team, checking forecasts against actuals, dealing with test orders, and so on.

Job Responsibility

  • Highlight any issues which could be of detriment to servicing our customers or impact financially on our internal operations
  • Analyse data and raise concerns accordingly both internally and with the customers
  • Conducting yourself in a professional manner and helping colleagues with any queries relating to supply chain to ensure everyone can meet their targets
  • Working with the teams across both sites to ensure customer service is delivered in full, on time
  • Work with our customers to improve communication to have a positive impact on our operational and commercial processes

Requirements

  • Ideally have skills/experience gained within a similar position(s), at a similar level
  • Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels
  • Have a proven record of communicating directly with customers, both in person and over Teams/phone/written communication
  • Highly customer focused
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Hands-on approach, with a 'can do' attitude
