We are looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Specialist to join a team on a contract basis in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will focus on sourcing commercial real estate across multiple locations while managing various aspects of supply chain operations. This is a contract position lasting 2-3 months and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and oversee sourcing efforts for commercial real estate in multiple regions to meet project goals
Manage procurement activities, including generating and adjusting purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials
Monitor supply chain operations and respond to shortages, delays, and production schedule changes
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on supply chain performance and status
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance cost efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines
Analyze supplier contracts and ensure compliance with agreed terms and organizational standards
Administer supplier agreements and address any deviations to maintain smooth operations
Identify opportunities for improvement by analyzing costs of materials and labor
Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Perform other assigned duties and support additional projects as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma required
a bachelor’s degree is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management or related fields
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with supply chain systems
Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills
Keen attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Familiarity with sourcing, inventory management, and purchase order processes is highly desirable
