The Supply Chain (SC) Supplier Senior Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department with focus on procurement activities in coordination with the Corporate Services team. The overall objective of this role is to drive the seamless delivery of goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's business.
Job Responsibility
Manage a team of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
Work with risk and senior management to prioritize business and information needs
Recognize and reduce risk within processes based on data as well as maintain vendor related policies and standards
Monitor and manage implementation and compliance with regards to Citi policies as well as regulatory oversight of vendor management
Maintain effective risk management and compliance programs as well as maintain and manage supplier programs and associated scorecards and tools
Manage vendor financial evaluation standards, program, and financial analysis on key suppliers
Manage offshore suppliers, and make capacity and outsourcing decisions
Participate in contract negotiations and assist in liaison with ARR
Utilize evaluative judgement based on analysis of information in complicated situations including budget management and resource planning
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Requirements
6-10 years of relevant experience
Certified Purchase Professional such as CPM or CIPS preferred
Experience in risk management, operational risk, compliance, audits and controls, and third-party management
Experience in functional and operational processes in large global companies
Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and eProcurement tools (e.g. Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, eAuction, eRFX)
Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Demonstrated time management skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
