As a key member of our Supply Chain & Quality Ops Management team, you’ll play an integral role in ensuring the On-Time and On-Quality performance and regulatory compliance of our critical suppliers. You will serve as a vital interface between our internal teams (Product Management, Supply Management, Planning, Quality, etc.) and our global supplier base guaranteeing the highest product quality for our customers. You’ll work at the heart of a global network, connecting with stakeholders across different departments and levels of the organisation, while leaving your mark on how we deliver excellence worldwide. This role blends both strategic and operational responsibilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure global key suppliers performance on-quality & on-time to meet Business requirements
  • Proactively develop suppliers to avoid structural supplier issues, to secure and continuously improve supply chain performance
  • Work closely with the Product Management community and understand Business needs and associated requirements
  • Contribute to MFT bringing supply chain & quality voice to define and implement relevant strategy
  • Lead the key supplier meetings under own scope & other task & project activities
  • Ensure supplier compliance with Airbus and appropriate Aviation Authorities requirements
  • Identify and mitigate risks at supplier level
  • Monitor supplier performance (On-Time, on-Quality) and launch relevant improvement actions
  • Support issues escalated by internal customers to eradicate non quality in a sustainable way
  • Manage supplier recovery
  • Identify developments needs and manage improvement projects to secure supplier industrial maturity
  • Support internal and external audits and other relevant activities, as necessary

Requirements

  • Education at the Masters level within Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering or equivalent
  • An aviation background of 3-5 years and knowledge of the aviation standard and regulatory requirements
  • Recognised experience in one or several of those domains: Supply Chain & Quality, Manufacturing engineering, Engineering, Customer Support and Operations
  • Experience in stakeholder/customer/supplier management
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to balance the big picture with attention to detail
  • A solid understanding of Supply Chain complexity and Quality Management
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment where priorities shift and independence is key
  • Strong communication skills at various levels of the organisation
  • Autonomy and organisational skills: influencing, assertiveness, ability to challenge the status quo with all hierarchical levels of a suppliers' management
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
