As a SCQM, you will be the primary interface with the nominated Supplier(s) and responsible for the relationship between the supplier and Airbus. Be fully responsible for managing the purchase phase of the supply chain core process and deliver milestones & hardware to projects on time, to cost and fulfilling all performance and quality requirements, as well as risks identification and mitigation.
Job Responsibility:
Be the primary interface with the nominated Supplier(s) and responsible for the relationship between the supplier and Airbus
Be fully responsible for managing the purchase phase of the supply chain core process and deliver milestones & hardware to projects on time, to cost and fulfilling all performance and quality requirements, as well as risks identification and mitigation
Presence on site at the supplier’s to build open and trustful relationships with their employees and management
Provide support to all aspects of the Supply Chain process and participate in schedule and cost improvement initiatives within Airbus and with suppliers
Drive the suppliers’ industrial maturity development and continuous improvement, in line with the procurement strategy
In case of new development, prepare the supplier for introduction of the new product
OQOT delivery from suppliers
Day-to-day contact with the supplier and management of contract implementation (multi-project, international)
timely and accurate reporting to PSMs
facilitate appropriate technical interaction between project (MSC/MPC) and supplier
Acquiring in-depth knowledge of supplier leading to effective control and improvement of the supplier
Identifying risks and proposing/agreeing and ensuring implementation of mitigating actions
Responsibility for relevant supplier milestones ( MRR, TRR, TRB/SRB & DRB) Taking minutes and driving actions to completion
Management of NCR’s/RFWD and chairing of NRB’s
Quality interface for MIP’s, EEE and M&P. To provide support to quality audits as required
Completion of annual supplier evaluation (with appropriate support)
Requirements:
Proven ability in activities which have allowed you to acquire skills and knowledge of: Procurement / Engineering / Quality/ Manufacturing
Background in Aerospace, preferably Space industry
Ability to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
