Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain / Purchasing Coordinator. This role serves as a link between Customer Service, Logistics, Purchasing, and Operations teams to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products while meeting customer expectations and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working within a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely order status updates
  • Assist in resolving customer service issues professionally and promptly
  • Coordinate outbound shipments and transportation activities
  • Prepare shipping documentation and schedule carrier pickups
  • Track deliveries and assist in resolving transportation-related issues
  • Create and manage purchase orders
  • Support supplier communications and purchasing activities
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, and operational reports
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs, to analyze and visualize supply chain data
  • Maintain accurate information within the company's ERP system
  • Provide backup support for other supply chain functions as needed

Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of supply chain experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
