Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities within the supply chain
  • Develop and maintain code (Python, SQL, etc.) to support automation, reporting, and optimization
  • Collaborate with supply chain to improve demand forecasting, inventory management, and production scheduling
  • Build dashboards and visualization tools to monitor KPIs and enhance decision-making
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve supply chain efficiency and resilience
  • Create structured, engaging, and executive-level presentations
  • Develop and implement production planning strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize costs
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align production plans with sales forecasts and inventory levels
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions for process improvements
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production planning methodologies and tools
  • Manage and maintain the integrity of production planning data within ERP and other relevant systems
  • Conduct scenario planning to assess the impact of potential disruptions on production schedules
  • Collaborate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials for production
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, capacity utilization, and key metrics to stakeholders
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in production planning and supply chain management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Strong programming skills (Python, SQL, R, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience in supply chain planning (demand planning, production planning, or material planning)
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes and systems (ERP, MRP, WMS)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
  • Strong PowerPoint skills required for reporting and presentation purposes
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and their application in supply chain optimization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Nice to have:

  • Supply chain background, fluent oral English skill
  • Mandarin is a plus
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related field
