We are looking for a Supply Chain/Procurement Manager to support inventory and purchasing operations for a Contract position based in Northglenn, Colorado. This role focuses on maintaining product availability, improving inventory accuracy, and strengthening vendor performance across multiple channels and locations. The ideal candidate will bring strong supply chain judgment, hands-on purchasing experience, and the ability to turn operational data into practical improvements.
Job Responsibility
Review fulfillment transactions across e-commerce shipping platforms and resolve order exceptions that do not transfer correctly into internal systems
Execute daily purchasing activities for assigned product groups to maintain appropriate stock levels and support business demand
Track negative inventory balances, coordinate corrective actions with internal teams, and drive root cause improvements to reduce recurring issues
Maintain accurate vendor delivery information and follow up on open commitments to support reliable planning and system integrity
Organize cycle count activity, evaluate count discrepancies, and lead follow-up efforts to improve inventory accuracy over time
Analyze inventory reports and spreadsheet-based planning tools to confirm adequate replenishment levels and identify potential shortages
Provide day-to-day management of open purchase orders, including status reviews, issue resolution, and communication with stakeholders
Support supply chain master data quality and maintain system information related to purchasing, inventory, and vendor operations
Lead cost reduction discussions with strategic suppliers and contribute to sourcing efforts for new products and vendor options
Coordinate annual physical inventory events across retail, event, corporate, third-party logistics, marketplace, and offsite warehouse locations
Requirements
Experience managing purchasing, inventory control, and supply chain operations in a fast-paced business environment
Strong working knowledge of purchase orders, procure-to-pay processes, and ERP-based transaction management
Ability to perform inventory analysis, monitor stock levels, and make sound replenishment decisions using system reports or Excel
Background in cycle counts, physical inventory coordination, and variance investigation with a focus on process improvement
Proven skill in vendor management, delivery tracking, and commercial negotiations that support service and cost objectives
Familiarity with logistics and multi-site inventory environments, including third-party warehouse operations
Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional resources and priorities
