Job Description:

This position plays a pivotal role within the Procure to Pay (“P2P”) program. Our program goal is to improve the Company’s procurement process by standardizing and optimizing P2P functions across approximately 5,000 operating locations in the US and Canada. This role will be active contributor within the P2P team, assisting with the management and maintenance of our business process as well as providing critical and timely support to our field users. The ideal candidate will be flexible, collaborative, have experience working across purchasing, receiving and operational functions and be comfortable interacting with and supporting our field operators as situations dictate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work independently and / or collaborate with the project team to diagnose business process issues that surface from our field operators
  • Partner with field operators to provide support as needed
  • Assist with the deployment and management of standard operating procedures designed to purchase and receive all goods and services in the Aramark food and facilities businesses in US & Canada
  • Be an active participant in the management needed to optimize, deploy and maintain the Company’s core procurement technology
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers, cross functional teams, vendors and management using exceptional interpersonal skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Relevant business experience, preferably working in operations, procurement, supply chain or related functional role
  • Strong customer support focus
  • Experience working in environments where continuous improvement and process efficiency are critical drivers of team success
  • Understanding of Purchasing and Receiving workflows and how they interplay with downstream workflows such as Invoicing and other AP functions
  • Exposure to AP Functions such as Invoicing and Exception Management
  • Familiarity with E-Procurement tools and technology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
