Supply Chain Performance Engineer

• Address day-to-day supplier constraints to improve supplier performance and their ability to flexibly and rapidly respond to Caterpillar requirements
• Works collaboratively with escalated suppliers and multiple facility functions to address and resolve supplier delivery issues using root cause and corrective action (RCCA)
• Coordinate Engineering Change Notification process for purchasing function, liaising with multiple facility functions for effective implementation
• Coordinate Supplier Tooling Management process working with Category team & suppliers - including PO management, Accounting, Payment release, Physical counts in line with Purchase Practices
• Coordinate RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Plan) process, liaising with Category team to ensure supplier capacity to meet facility requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Mech/Prod/Automobile) with minimum of 3 years working experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain/Logistics
• Good analytical and problem-solving skill
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focus
• SAP knowledge will be an added advantage
