Job Description:

The Supply Chain & Operations Manager oversees end-to-end operational workflows that drive the Client’s distribution, logistics, and inventory performance across the Americas. This position manages demand forecasting, order processing, vendor logistics, and inventory optimization, ensuring efficient, accurate fulfillment and strong collaboration with both local teams and Client’s headquarters in Taiwan. This role requires professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese to coordinate effectively with overseas vendors, logistics providers, and HQ operations teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily operations related to order processing, distribution scheduling, and logistics coordination
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve fulfillment accuracy and throughput
  • Monitor operational KPIs to ensure on-time delivery, order accuracy, and cost efficiency
  • Resolve escalated operational or logistics issues involving shipments, vendors, or system discrepancies
  • Lead demand forecasting and capacity planning by analyzing sales trends, seasonal patterns, and inventory turnover
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Finance teams to align forecasts with product launches and market demand
  • Maintain real-time inventory accuracy across all warehouses and distribution centers
  • Optimize stock levels to minimize shortages, overstock, and carrying costs
  • Support RMA and defective product logistics in coordination with support and warehouse teams
  • Serve as the primary liaison with logistics providers, freight carriers, and distribution partners, including those in Taiwan and Asia
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, shipping rates, and lead-time expectations
  • Evaluate and report on vendor KPIs, driving accountability and continuous improvement
  • Oversee import/export compliance, customs documentation, and international shipment coordination
  • Lead and mentor a small operations team responsible for order processing, logistics coordination, and forecasting support
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement cross-training for team agility
  • Foster a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and process improvement
  • Prepare forecast accuracy reports, vendor scorecards, and inventory dashboards for leadership review
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase automation and efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Sales, and Finance to enhance ERP accuracy and workflow design

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management (preferably in tech or distribution)
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English – both written and spoken
  • Proven experience in forecasting, demand planning, and vendor relationship management
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Knowledge of domestic and international logistics, freight forwarding, and customs documentation

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Lean / Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with the Client’s products or technology hardware distribution workflows
  • Experience coordinating with Asia-based manufacturers or vendors
