We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a growing organization in Gig Harbor, Washington. This position serves as a key link between supply chain operations and financial planning, helping leaders make informed decisions across manufacturing, warehousing, inventory, and distribution. The role is well suited for someone who brings strong business judgment, leadership capability, and a background in food manufacturing or a similar regulated production environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a small team of finance-focused professionals supporting inventory and cost-related activities across the supply chain function
Partner with supply chain and finance leadership to align operational performance with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning goals
Oversee cost analysis for manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution activities, including review of standard costing methods and operational variances
Provide insight into compliance considerations and help ensure supply chain financial practices support internal and external requirements
Act as a trusted advisor across cross-functional teams by translating operational data into clear financial recommendations for senior stakeholders
Support the integration and expansion of newly added product operations within the broader supply chain network
Monitor inventory-related performance and distribution costs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Use tools such as Dynamics 365 and Power BI to evaluate performance, develop reporting, and strengthen decision-making processes
Travel periodically to warehouse and company locations to build partnerships, review operations, and support business objectives
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in a supply chain finance, supply chain management, or similarly cross-functional leadership role
Background in food manufacturing or another production environment with complex inventory and cost structures
Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting within an operational setting
Solid understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, warehousing economics, and distribution expense management
Experience leading or mentoring accounting or finance professionals involved in inventory or cost accounting
Proficiency with business systems and reporting tools, including ERP platforms such as Dynamics 365 and analytics tools like Power BI
Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and influence decisions across both finance and supply chain teams
