Supply Chain Manager

• Develop and implement inventory control strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent shortages or overstocking
• Monitor inventory movements and resolve discrepancies by analyzing data and identifying variances
• Source and qualify alternative suppliers, both domestic and international, for raw materials and finished goods
• Collaborate with teams across sales, operations, and finance to forecast inventory needs and establish reliable inventory targets
• Manage the forecasting process for the business using ForecastX software to support inventory planning
• Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and beneficial contract agreements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external partners to ensure a consistent and efficient supply chain
• Analyze inventory data and prepare reports with actionable recommendations for improving purchasing and inventory strategies
• Continuously refine purchasing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations
• Supervise and guide a procurement specialist responsible for indirect supply purchasing for the manufacturing facility

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain, purchasing, or inventory management, with a track record of international procurement
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms with suppliers and vendors
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and forecasting tools, such as ForecastX
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory control methods, and purchasing best practices
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations
• Familiarity with laws, tariffs, and regulations related to international purchasing and inventory management
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
