This position offers the flexibility to begin your role as a Supply Chain Manager role in one of our offices located in Rochester Hills, MI; Elizabethtown or Hebron, KY; or Lithonia, GA. The Supply Chain Manager will support supply planning and site relationships across U.S. operations, including coordination with Mexico manufacturing teams. This role provides guidance to manufacturing scheduling and planning teams while partnering closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Demand Planning, Quality, Regulatory, and Sales & Marketing. As a key decision-maker, you’ll help align cross-functional teams, strengthen collaboration, and drive reliable supply solutions that directly impact customer satisfaction and operational performance.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain monthly supply requirements through close collaboration with manufacturing sites, leveraging systematic planning tools and site commitments
Own customer on-time delivery performance while balancing optimized finished goods and raw material inventory levels across assigned value streams
Facilitate and champion the SIOP/S&OP process across assigned manufacturing sites, Supply Chain, and commercial partners
Build and manage inventory strategies across business segments to maximize profitability while meeting inventory objectives
Secure reliable supply confirmation and proactively communicate availability dates and constraints to Customer Service and commercial teams
Serve as an escalation point and key decision-maker, driving timely resolution with a strong sense of urgency
Ensure Supply Chain planning rules and master data are accurately maintained on a monthly and quarterly basis
Drive effective use of ASCP/Oracle planning tools and APCC BI reporting across order management, inventory management, forecasting, and reporting
Lead and facilitate monthly SIOP consensus, supply, and planning meetings to align on a rolling 12-month supply, demand, and inventory plan consistent with business strategy
Oversee production execution against the approved S&OP plan and partner with manufacturing to resolve variances
Identify potential supply and demand imbalances and engage cross-functional teams to address risks and opportunities
Provide data-driven analysis, insights, and recommendations, including what-if scenario planning, to optimize performance
Lead and influence an indirect team of planners supporting manufacturing operations
Act as a liaison between Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Business Leadership
Present product line and plant performance updates to executive leadership
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree Required - Business, Operations, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, materials management, or production planning
Ability to travel up to 25% as needed -Required
Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Results-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Nice to have:
Experience supporting multiple manufacturing site locations- Preferred
Master of Business Administration (MBA)- Preferred
Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification- Preferred
SQL and database experience- Preferred
