Our client, a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturer dedicated to innovation and excellence, is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee its end-to-end supply chain, from raw material procurement to final product distribution. In this role, you will be the architect of a complex production ecosystem and you will balance the precision of pharmaceutical manufacturing with the agility required to navigate logistics.
Job Responsibility:
End-to-End Oversight: Manage the full supply chain lifecycle, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics for our manufacturing facility
Production Integration: Work closely with the Production and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure that raw materials (APIs, excipients, and packaging) are available to meet strict manufacturing schedules
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards, as well as local and international pharmaceutical regulations
Vendor Management: Identify, audit, and manage relationships with global suppliers, ensuring high-quality standards and cost-effective procurement
Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to handle supply chain disruptions, ensuring business continuity for critical medical supplies
Cold Chain Logistics: Oversee specialized storage and transport requirements, ensuring temperature-sensitive products maintain their integrity throughout the journey
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in supply chain management, specifically within the pharmaceutical or food
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
Deep understanding of GMP/GDP environments and the "Cold Chain" process
Nice to have:
Lean Six Sigma certifications are highly desirable
