Lead efforts to improve schedule attainment, on-time delivery, and lead time performance through measurable process improvements.
Create accountability across the team by setting clear expectations, coaching performance, and maintaining a visible presence on the production floor.
Communicate directly with customers when needed regarding shortages, timing updates, and service-related issues while supporting a high standard of responsiveness.
Develop reporting and visibility tools using ERP and spreadsheet-based analysis to support decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or production environment with direct involvement in day-to-day supply chain execution.
Proven ability to translate customer demand into production plans that reflect machine capacity, material availability, and operational limitations.
Prior ownership of detailed production scheduling, including work across multiple machine types, setup requirements, and cycle times.
Track record of improving key performance indicators such as schedule attainment, on-time delivery, lead time, inventory turns, or inventory accuracy.
Experience leading multiple supply chain-related functions, including planning, scheduling, shipping, customer service, and inventory control.
Strong problem-solving ability in inventory management, including reducing excess stock and correcting transactional or system-to-floor discrepancies.
Effective cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align sales, operations, and finance around a shared plan.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel for analysis, reporting, and operational visibility
