Job Description:

This role is responsible for end-to-end supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and material readiness for data center infrastructure. The position requires the ability to anticipate future requirements, align supply with expansion plans, and ensure uninterrupted availability of critical components such as servers, GPUs, networking, storage, racks, and electrical infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop demand forecasting models for data center infrastructure including GPUs, servers, networking equipment, storage, racks, PDUs, and cooling systems
  • Analyze historical data, business pipeline, and expansion plans to forecast material requirements proactively
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and leadership teams to translate project plans into supply chain strategies
  • Ensure material availability aligned with deployment timelines, avoiding delays or overstocking
  • Plan and manage inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder strategies for critical components
  • Identify potential supply risks, shortages, and lead time challenges, and proactively develop mitigation plans
  • Work closely with procurement teams to align sourcing strategies with forecasted demand
  • Drive capacity planning and supply planning for upcoming data center expansions and AI infrastructure deployment
  • Optimize inventory turnover, working capital, and storage utilization
  • Monitor and track supply chain KPIs including fill rate, inventory accuracy, stock turns, and demand forecast accuracy
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely delivery, logistics planning, and stock replenishment
  • Maintain accurate planning documentation, reports, dashboards, and forecasting models
  • Continuously track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply availability to refine planning strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning / Demand Planning / SCM, preferably in data center, IT hardware, telecom, or infrastructure domains
  • Strong ability to forecast demand and foresee infrastructure requirements based on business growth and project pipelines
  • Understanding of data center components including servers, GPUs, networking, storage, and electrical infrastructure
  • Experience in inventory planning, supply planning, and material requirement planning (MRP)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work on forecasting models and data analysis
  • Ability to align technical requirements with supply chain planning decisions
  • Experience working with ERP systems, planning tools, and advanced Excel
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving requirements
