Job Description

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead Infrastructure and Indirect Sourcing at 1X. This role is a people manager responsible for building, developing, and scaling a high-performing sourcing team that supports facilities, IT infrastructure, factory operations, and corporate services as the company grows. This role requires strong judgment, prioritization, and people leadership in an environment where not everything is fully defined.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and develop a team of Global Sourcing Managers and Sourcing Leads/Specialists
  • Own infrastructure and indirect sourcing strategy across global sites
  • Partner with Facilities, IT, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Finance, and HR
  • Set priorities, manage escalations, and align sourcing to company growth
  • Drive cost optimization, supplier performance, and risk management
  • Define sourcing strategy and operating model for infrastructure and indirect spend
  • Support infrastructure planning for new sites, expansions, and operational scaling
  • Team-Based Commodity Oversight (via team, not individually): IT infrastructure and network services
  • Facilities maintenance and site services
  • Construction, CapEx, and site expansion
  • Factory production support (tooling, MRO, consumables)
  • Corporate services (travel, HR-related services)

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement
  • 3+ years of experience managing and developing sourcing or supply chain teams
  • Proven ability to build and scale teams in fast-growing or ambiguous environments
  • Experience setting strategy, priorities, and operating models across multiple indirect or infrastructure categories
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with senior stakeholders (Facilities, IT, Manufacturing, Finance, HR)
  • Demonstrated ability to balance short-term execution with long-term capability building
  • Experience managing competing priorities, tradeoffs, and escalations

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting multi-site or global operations
  • Background in infrastructure, facilities, IT, manufacturing support, or indirect sourcing
  • Experience partnering with Finance on budgets, forecasts, and savings tracking
