Supply Chain Management Specialist

• Collaboration and discussion with other internal departments to ensure clarity of the technical specifications and expectations of the company
• Negotiation with external suppliers to secure advantageous terms with a win-win approach, both at a technical and commercial level
• Creation and follow up of purchase orders according to internal production needs
• Monitoring of delivery schedule and due date PO to ensure on time arrival of goods
• Assessment and management of supplier performance, assessment of delivery risks and initiation of continuous improvement programs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, conditions and service levels

• Degree in Engineering or Business (with strong focus on technology), with up to 3 years of experience
• At least 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the aerospace or automotive industries
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, project-driven environment
• Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
• Problem-solving capacity, with demonstrated ability for considerable analysis and sound judgment to find solutions in a complex environment with shifting and competing priorities
• Motivated, proactive, and adaptable to evolving project needs and assigned tasks
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English and German

Prior experience with SAP S4 HANA or similar ERP systems is an advantage
