Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost control and financial performance
Manage and monitor inventory levels to balance supply and demand, reducing excess inventory and stockouts
Develop and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers
Handle customer service issues related to shipping, delivery, and returns
Implement and maintain supply chain best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Manage and oversee procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management
Coordinate with production, logistics, and inventory management teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products
Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Maintain current knowledge of products, manufacturing processes and market dynamics
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of supply chain professionals, including procurement, logistics, and inventory staff. Provide clear direction and support to ensure team alignment with organizational goals
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in supply chain management with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Possess good knowledge in SCM and D&L experiences
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis
Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills to deliver high quality executive-ready presentations
Nice to have:
Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) preferred
