Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Supply Chain Finance Analyst will partner closely with both the Finance and Supply Chain organizations to improve operational and financial performance across the distribution network. This role focuses on analyzing freight, inventory, procurement, tariffs, and branch-level performance to identify cost drivers, improve visibility into supply chain economics, and support data-driven decision making. The role will support data-driven decision making across inventory strategy, procurement, freight, and distribution performance. The position will play a key role in translating operational data into financial insight, helping leadership understand the financial impact of supply chain activity across vendors, customers, and distribution locations.
Job Responsibility:

Collect, analyze and recommend process improvements regarding key KPIs such as freight, procurement, inventory carrying costs, and distribution expenses
Rebate Tracking and Process Compliance: Growth Rebates and Customer Specific
Collaborate with Field Inventory Managers, buyers, and supply chain leadership to monitor and analyze inventory performance including turns, aging, and stock optimization opportunities
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on supply chain metrics, trends, and performance indicators for senior management
Develop financial and operational insights to support supply chain strategy, vendor programs, and inventory investment decisions
Project Management: Lead or participate in supply chain projects, including system implementations, process redesigns, or new product introductions
Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Mathematics preferred
5+ years of relevant supply chain or finance operations experience, ideally within multi-location, complex industrial distribution environment
APICS or Supply Chain Management certifications preferred
Required travel approximately 10%
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI required, including the ability to work with large datasets, develop analytical models, and build dashboards and reporting tools to support supply chain and financial performance analysis.
