Reporting to the Senior Transport Manager, the Coordinator plays a key role in the planning, coordination, and follow-up of daily supply-related activities. The role ensures the smooth flow of the supply chain by working closely with various operational teams and actively participating in day-to-day operations. Integrated into evening and weekend teams, the Coordinator helps ensure operational continuity.
Job Responsibility:
Organize and ensure the smooth execution of daily activities
Manage emergency situations related to operational requirements and propose quick, effective solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders
Schedule client appointments to coordinate deliveries
Schedule raw material pickups with suppliers
Communicate proactively with carriers to ensure efficient planning
Prepare required documentation (e.g., purchase orders) and forward them to carriers and suppliers
Ensure transportation costs comply with negotiated agreements
Monitor and manage supply by establishing the weekly supply plan
Coordinate raw material replenishment
Follow up on orders with internal and external suppliers
Manage inventories to identify at-risk stock levels (shortages or surpluses)
Create new orders and make required changes in the computer system
Deliver a high level of customer service
Receive, analyze, escalate, or resolve customer feedback and issues
Perform certain activities using customer software systems
Produce various reports and compile statistics
Requirements:
Diploma in logistics, supply chain management (completed or in progress), or any other relevant training
Experience and/or interest in learning the agri-food industry and the manufacturing sector
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, to ensure effective communication with external suppliers and various stakeholders
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Experience and/or interest in learning ERP, MRP, or WMS systems
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple teams
Excellent communication skills
Strong priority management and ability to work under pressure
