Manage stock availability by raising and processing standard, special, and project-related orders, minimising excess inventory, and coordinating high-priority procurement when required
Work closely with purchasing colleagues and suppliers to source alternatives, resolve delays, maintain clear communication, and manage supplier collections and deliveries to company and customer sites
Share relevant updates with internal departments to support smooth operations, and ensure accuracy of all stock data, including master data maintenance and internal branch stock transfers
Monitor supplier performance (delivery accuracy, lead times, service levels) and manage procurement-related costs such as transport, duties, and customs charges
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong attention to detail across orders, stock records and cost calculations
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills and proactive approach to problem solving
Excellent computer skills, including strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Solid understanding of import transport logistics and coordination
Knowledge of customs procedures, duties, and trade compliance requirements
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
