Job Description

NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting practice is currently looking for a Supply Chain Consultant - Operations and Analytics remote (+ client visits) for our growing team in the Netherlands.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyzing complex customer cases and implementing actionable results across the entire supply chain, with emphasis on logistics operations (warehouse and transport) and network optimisation
  • Work closely with a Senior Manager or Manager within the Supply Chain Design, Analytics & Operations team
  • Delivering analysis-driven Supply Chain advisory services to our clients according to the project goals
  • Interface with the client to acquire business data, information and insight
  • Develop effective and polished presentation material from analysis results and support the project manager during presentations to the client
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships
  • Manage client expectations and deliverables and balance with company demands to consistently deliver expected results

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in operations, logistics, supply chain, industrial engineering, science, technology, math, business, or related major
  • 3+ years of experience with emphasis on Supply Chain, logistics operations, warehouse automation, transformation and process excellence, transport procurement and optimization, Transport Management System implementation
  • 2+ years of working experience in (operations) consulting and/or a project-based role
  • 2+ years of experience in using quantitative tools to analyze business data (e.g. SQL, KNIME, R, Python and other data analytical tools)
  • Excellent language skills (Dutch and English fluency)
  • Willing and able to travel based on project location and/or client demand

Nice to have

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Consulting experience
  • Exposure to Supply Chain modeling environments (e.g. Coupa Supply Chain Guru, BlueYonder Supply Chain Strategist, Optilogic, Aimms, or similar)
  • Exposure to Transport Management Systems (e.g. Blue Yonder, Oracle, Alpega, Tesisquare, or similar)
  • Exposure to Warehouse Automation and/or Management Systems (e.g. Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, Oracle, or similar)
