The Supply Chain Co-op will work closely with the Supply Chain team and other Departments to achieve the overall goals and objectives of the Department.
Job Responsibility:
Schedule materials to meet the demands of the production plan and project schedules
Manage MRP messages, ERP requisitions, purchase orders, Material Handling tickets and related data in our supporting systems
Manage day-to-day Supply Chain processes
Daily communication with Internal Stakeholders such as Project Procurement Leads, Project Management, Assembly, Material Handling, and Quality
Daily communication with Suppliers (both written and verbal) as assigned
Perform other duties/special projects as assigned
Requirements:
Working towards a post-secondary degree, diploma or equivalent, specializing in Purchasing/Materials Management and Supply Chain Management
Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
Strong keyboarding and data entry skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel and ERP/MRP
Previous co-op experience in a Supply Chain/Purchasing role, preferably in a manufacturing environment is an asset
