Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading diagnostics business as a Supply Chain and Demand Specialist, supporting operations within a major UK toxicology division. In this role, you will support a wide range of supply chain activities, from demand and supply planning to managing relationships with third-party manufacturers and service providers. You will also contribute to process improvements and project management initiatives across the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyse sales history and collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams to develop accurate demand plans
  • Monitor and update demand forecasts in response to market changes and new product introductions
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, resolving any logistics or customs issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and manage change controls
  • Provide general supply chain support, assisting with projects and process development as needed

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong background in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Operations-ideally within the medical device or diagnostics sector
  • Experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAGE, SAP)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively across all levels of the business
  • Confident in negotiating with suppliers and collaborating cross-functionally
  • Full UK driving licence required
