Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the inventory health across the global distribution network for stocked parts
Management Material Requirements Planning (MRP) capabilities related to inventory balancing and replenishment for stocked and non-stocked parts
Coordinate with program management and finance to ensure alignment between inventory plans and business/financial performance goals
Collaborate across the supply chain team and technical engineering communities to leverage insights for supportability and planning strategies
Partner with Customer Program Managers and utilize customer relationships to gather intelligence for demand planning
Identification & disposition of excess material
to include sourcing of excess materials from within Boeing’s overall supply network
Integrate with Program Management and Business Development on stocking strategies, both domestically and internationally
Key contributor to the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, responsible for Inventory Planning
Achievement of Supply Chain Planning Key Performance Indicators (Fill Rate, On Time Delivery & Stocked Zero Bin)
Responsible to determine root cause/corrective action for the metric degraders
Maintenance and reporting of performance for Tailored Part Packages/Service Level Agreements
Identification and management of critical arts, utilizing Management Control and Inventory Reserve capabilities to protect AOG & Hi Priority orders
Partner with Supplier Management, Finance and Program Management to develop sourcing strategies that utilize long term contracts and maximize material cost breaks (Time Phased Supply Planning, Min/Max, etc.)
Leverage analytics capabilities to continue automation of business processes.
Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field
At least five (5) years of experience as a Supply Chain Analytics Specialist or related occupation
Five years of experience with managing global supply chain operations within the aerospace hardware and service parts industry
Five years of experience with utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning tools including SAP, SPM, and JDA for inventory management of stocked and non-stocked parts
Five years of experience with utilizing SAP, SPM, and JDA for inventory planning, demand forecasting, and replenishment strategies
Five years of experience in applying Lean Six Sigma principles—including DMAIC and root cause analysis—to identify and resolve inefficiencies in forecasting and inventory workflows
Five years of experience in applying Lean Six Sigma principles including root cause analysis and DMAIC in supply chain management
Five years of experience with utilizing data analytics tools including Python, R, and Tableau for performance tracking and process automation
Five years of experience in conducting demand reviews utilizing Time series forecast algorithms to finalize demand forecasts, incorporating market inputs
Five years of experience in generating supply plans based on multi-echelon inventory principles aligned with target service levels
Five years of experience with utilizing predictive analysis for suppliers' performance evaluation and lead time forecast modeling
Domestic travel required up to 20%.
