We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position is based in East Lansing, Michigan, and offers an opportunity to work on impactful projects within the energy and natural resources industry. The role focuses on analyzing vendor activities, reviewing wage compliance, and ensuring adherence to government standards.
Job Responsibility:
Perform data analysis to identify common vendors and trends across different locations
Investigate discrepancies and gather detailed information regarding vendor operations and employee wages
Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze large datasets effectively
Collaborate with teams to ensure proper documentation and verification of supply chain-related activities
Examine purchase orders and supply chain documents for accuracy and compliance
Maintain organized records and provide detailed reports to support tax credit applications
Communicate findings and insights clearly with stakeholders and team members
Support ongoing supply chain projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics analysis
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis
Familiarity with supply chain documentation, including purchase orders
Ability to analyze wage compliance against government prevailing standards
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration
